Let’s face it – everyone wants to look better.
Looking better is about more than just attracting the ideal mate. When you look better you feel better. And when your confidence improves, every other aspect of your life tends to follow suit.
And the good news is, looking better doesn’t have to be a long, drawn out process that so many think it is. Sure, it’s good to have long-term goals to improve your looks (such as dropping weight or building muscle). But, there are also some things you can do to improve your look in a matter of seconds.
1. Running in Place or Jumping Jacks
Dying for that cute, flushed look in your face?
If so, you don’t need to cake on the blush to achieve it. Instead, take 60 seconds and run in place or do as many jumping jacks as you can. Your cheeks will instantly get that nice rosy glow. Plus, your metabolism will spike and you will feel more energized.
2. Decrease Puffiness With a Rollerball
A rough night’s sleep can be unforgiving to the skin. Oftentimes, the puffiness that results due to the lack of sleep can really put a damper on one’s looks.
Not to worry. A rollerball is all you need to fix this issue. When using the rollerball, start at the inner corner of your eye and work your way below your brow, repeating several times. Work the rollerball several times into the inner and outer corner of your eyes, then do it once over for good measure.
And of course if the rollerball routine is getting old and you want youthful skin without the hassle, plastic surgery is always an excellent option.
3. Concealer is Your Friend
Zits are really nothing to be embarrassed about, as almost everyone deals with them.
However, a zit can be a killer to your confidence. And even a small one here and there can make you feel like you need to put a paper bag over your face.
Luckily, there are concealers that can tackle even the most stubborn, bright red blemishes. Keep a tube of concealer on hand for the times these blemishes pop up out of nowhere. This way, you won’t spend the whole day agonizing over your face.
Just make sure you pick a concealer that perfectly matches your skin tone, otherwise you’ll be attracting attention to the zit instead of deterring it.
4. Keep an Extra Toothbrush on Hand
Smiling is a great way to feel more confident and to attract others.
However, it can be tough to show off your pearly whites after a meal packed with onions, garlic, and herbs. This is why it’s always a good idea to have a toothbrush on hand so you never have to worry about not having fresh breath.
And don’t worry, you don’t need to pack your clunky electric toothbrush. A small travel-sized brush and paste will do just fine.
5. Pack a Perfume Roller in Your Purse
It’s no secret that your scent can help you attract a mate.
But, you should also keep a perfume roller in your purse for your own good. A spritz of your favorite scent can be an instant confidence booster. Just remember not to overdue it, as the only thing worse than not smelling fresh is smelling like an entire perfume factory.
