A lot can change in the world of music and it can change quickly but as of December 15, 2012 the singles on this list have all earned the distinction of being the 10 best selling singles of 2012. What surprises me most about this list is the mix of different types of music. Every year, I get at least one iTunes gift certificate for Christmas and spend a few days putting together the ultimate playlist that features the most popular songs of the year with a healthy dose of my personal favorites. This year, for the first time in a long time, some of my favorite songs are on the list of the best selling singles for 2012. Again, this list is current as of December 15.
