When you think of gorgeous celebs you think Pitt, Jolie, Depp, Kardashian and countless other names you constantly see topping the hottest celeb lists. It’s puzzling, really. There are any number of gorgeous celebs that seem to constantly go unrecognized. This article is to shine a light on Hollywood’s unsung beautiful celebs. You might not see them on the cover of magazines but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be there. They’re beautiful, talented and totally unrecognized. Let’s take a look.
10. Juilian McMahon
I’ll be honest, Juilian McMahon flew under the radar even for me. He was one of those actors that always looks stunning and somehow familiar but I just couldn’t place. Starring in Charmed and Nip/Tuck this dapper dude has the sort of natural good looks and sexy blue eyes that makes women melt.
09. Julia Stiles
With her guest starring role in season five of Showtime’s Dexter, Julia Stiles is one again a name that’s on everyone’s lips. Then again, if you’re old enough, this likely isn’t the first time. Julia first caught the world’s attention in the charming ’10 Things I Hate About You’ following that up with ‘The Princess Diaries’ and ‘Save the Last Dance’, but then her career more or less faded. Regardless, she’s absolutely beautiful. I love the fact that she doesn’t feel the need to flaunt her body to get attention. That’s a rarity in this industry and definitely one of the things that makes her a stand out.
08. Christopher Drew Ingle (Nevershoutnever)
He may be young but he’s also absolutely adorable. Perhaps sexy isn’t exactly the right word here although I’m sure there are plenty of tween girls out there that would disagree with me. If you need proof, sit in on one of his live Ustream chats with his fans and check out the comments on his MySpace page. Even so, he might not inspire swooning and dirty thoughts in us women over the age of sixteen (most of us, anyway), he does inspire a strong desire to give him a hug and maybe ruffle his hair.
07. Kelly Osbourne
There was a time when anything written about Kelly Osbourne’s physical appearance would almost undoubtedly be negative. I never saw it honestly, but even I have to admit, Kelly is looking killer these days. Following her appearance on ‘Dancing With the Stars’, a more confident Kelly kept her weight off and performed with the Pussycat Dolls. She looks incredible – healthy and happier than she’s looked in a long time. She lost weight but she didn’t lose the tough girl attitude that made me love her so much in the first place; which makes here all the more appealing.
06. Lee Pace
With his addition to the cast of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’, Lee Pace is sure to finally start getting the attention he deserves. Lee first caught my attention in the wonderful, yet horribly underrated ABC show ‘Pushing Daisies’ but never quite popped as the sex symbol he deserves to be. His sultry brown eyes are soulful and deep but he has a quality that can’t quite be identified. Lee is a unique guy in Hollywood; a fact that makes him much more appealing.
05. Tina Fey
Tina Fey is one of the funniest women in Hollywood. Who would’ve guessed she’s also smokin’ hot. While she often chooses to hide her good looks behind thick glasses and dowdy outfits, she really knows how to work it when she wants to. Tina is unapologetic about being herself. She is who she is and doesn’t let the naysayers get her down. I love her confidence even though you’re sure there’s more than a little bit of self-loathing underneath it all. Then again, she is a comedian and I’m fairly positive that’s a prerequisite for that career track.
04. Johnny Galecki
I have had a crush on Johnny Galecki since his days on ‘Rosanne’ but it’s only now with his role as nerdy Leonard on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ that Galecki is really getting the attention he deserves. Even so, many people don’t realize that behind the geek attire lies a pretty hot guy. The real Johnny has the rugged good looks you’d see with a more traditional Hollywood heartthrob; more closely resembling a movie idol than a lab geek.
03. Maggie Gyllenhaal
What kills me about Maggie Gyllenhaal is that her brother, Jake, is widely considered one of the most attractive men in Hollywood while Maggie rarely makes anyone’s hot list. Just look at her – those eyes could melt butter. Maggie gives Hollywood something other than the stereotypical blond bombshell. She’s a classic beauty with the grace and glamor of the stars of Old Hollywood. She’s doesn’t feel the need to dumb herself down for wider appeal. She is satisfied with being who she is – a mega talented, mega beautiful woman and doesn’t make any apologies for that.
02. Jackson Rathbone
Jackson Rathbone has a strong following, but nowhere near that of some of his more publicized Twilight costars. Everyone knows who Robert Pattinson is but there are other attractive vamps in the Cullen clan. Although I risk being tarred and feathered by rabid Pattinites for this, I’d take Rathbone over Pattinson any day of the week. There’s a sultry fragility about him that is much more appealing than the goofy charm Pattinson offers.
01. Mary Louise Parker
Mary Louise Parker has been called the thinking man’s sex symbol but with a body like hers, what’s to think about. The woman is gorgeous in every sense of the word. She isn’t a cookie cutter creation. She is a unique, strong and tough woman who isn’t afraid to say what she thinks. It’s that outspoken streak that makes her so appealing and also likely turns some people off of her. The truth is though, in terms of looks alone, Parker is one of the sexiest women on TV.
