How to make Spinach salad with orange basil dressings
It is a healthy and light meal which is easy to make. Here is the recipe for serving it to 4 to 6 people.
INGREDIENTS:
· 6 cups of fresh spinach
· 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
· 1 red or yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
· 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
1 Tablespoon (15 mL) sesame seeds
· 15 mL of orange juice
1 orange, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
· (15 mL) water
HOW TO MAKE IT?
STEP 1:
Oven is to be preheated to 400 F and sesame seeds are toasted for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
STEP 2:
In the meantime, remove the stems of the spinach. Then, carefully wash and dry the leaves. Tear it into small pieces. Place them in a salad bowl with pepper, onion, and orange slices.
STEP 3:
Grind the sesame seeds in a blender. Mix vinegar, orange juice, and water with it. Spread it over salad and toss it just before serving.
TIP:
Toasted sesame seeds add wonderful flavor to this salad.
