Make Sure Contractor Has Right Paperwork: After you’ve gone through the process of checking out what other people say about your new contractor, make sure he or she measures up on some very basic levels. This means you want to make sure they are certified and have the appropriate contractor insurance coverage. Anyone who doesn’t have a very good amount of insurance coverage is going to be someone you really don’t want to do business with when talking about remodeling your home.
