Heiress Protecting SUVs

Young, rich and undoubtedly beautiful heiresses to fortunes and thrones need protection from those individuals who would threaten their safety. In their opulent homes, sophisticated security systems and bodyguards take care of their charges but, when it comes to outdoors you need a strong, powerful and tough vehicle to get these vulnerable ladies to their destinations and back again. Where your frugal and nippy electric cars are great for your average drivers and passengers, they aren’t up to the challenge of heiress-protection.

Ivanka Trump, daughter of Donald, is a very kidnap-worthy target with an estate valued this year at $2.7billion.

Limousines and large saloons are so passé nowadays. These young ladies deserve the best, most fashion conscious cars so naturally they need Sport Utility Vehicles or SUV’s. Yes, and for added security the cars are armoured and feature toughened glass. After all if your daughter is the subject of an attempted armed kidnap you want the glass to look like this afterwards – your heiress left safe and sound. Also notice how the bodywork is dented but not pierced.

While it’s a male thing to protect your gorgeous child, you know how demanding and independent she can be. Yes, not every armoured SUV is designed by men. Sometimes your daughter can have considerable input to the internal layout and of course it’s interior aesthetic.

Dartz Prombron Iron Diamond

Designed by famous Russian car manufacturer, the Iron Diamond has an exclusive design, ten interior options and eight cameras to aid in parking. The driver’s door has been replaced by a solid bulkhead to make a quick hijack impossible. This vehicle was created specifically for Princess Regina Abdurazakova from Kazakhstan and will sport its own royal badge.

Dartz Prombron Monaco Red Diamond

Another fantastic SUV by Dartz, this model sports a matte black and ruby red paintjob, gold-plated bulletproof windows, 22′ Kremlin Red Star bulletproof wheels, tungsten and white gold gauges decorated with diamonds and rubies. To ensure it’s not just all for show and not for blow the exterior has a Kevlar coating, and, should the situation look bleak; a custom Vertu mobile phone with a panic button. As an unusual accessory the Red Diamond comes with three bottles of the world’s most expensive vodka, RussoBaltique naturally adorned with more gold and diamonds. But it still keeps the traditional 4 door layout.

Conquest Knight XV Armoured SUV

Monsters like these SUVs get through their fair share of fuel but if you are interested in protecting your daughter and the planet the Knight XV runs on bio-ethanol, a greener fuel but one that still has its own humanitarian consequences. Conquest aims this SUV at ‘high net-worth individuals, [including] entertainers, professional athletes, politicians and members of Middle Eastern royal families.’ The car’s pedigree is an 11,000-pound vehicle assembled around a Ford F-350 Super Duty chassis with a 400-horsepower V-10 engine.  According to Kris Abel of Canada’s CTV, this Canadian prototype has enough armour plating to stop rounds from a M15 rifle. Each SUV takes 3 months of man hours to build.

Perhaps you want your heiress to travel a bit more incognito?

Maybe not. Too FBI. How about something Italian?

Lamborghini LM 002

Nicknamed the ‘Lambo Rambo’, this SUV is on a smaller scale but built for speed as well as power.

Hennessey VelociRaptor

Oddly, this SUV comes with armoured and non-armoured options on the list. Based on the new Ford Raptor Super Crew, this supercharged 6.2l V8 will set you back $450,000 should you go for the 7 seater with full entertainment package, armoured body and undercarriage.

And finally…

Here’s a vehicle worthy of protecting Vanisha Mittal, the daughter of Indian-born London-based steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, someone with an estimated net worth of $50 billion!

I’ve shown you the mean, the sleek(ish) and the hulks but the best and biggest is surely this colossus. May I present the Vault XXL Armoured Limousine – never mind being bullet proof this one can withstand rocket propelled grenades and flamethrowers. It’s not just defence, it can pack a punch offensively too with its twin gun ports. If she needs her entourage, then with a seating capacity of 25, she should be kept happy. The interior is luxurious:  L-shaped wet bar, a variety of LCD screens, a powerful stereo system, and the ubiquitous iPod dock…
