The latest British weather has been perfect for ducks…which means it must be festival season, right? While the early music events weren’t quite the usual washout – Glastonbury this year wasn’t a mud pit for once – the last few of the season may require you to dig out those wellies.
Of course, wet weather also offers the opportunity to bring out the cute rain mac, for epic mud sliding after a few drinks (just ensure your best friend holds your phone and purse) and navigating around the puddles to the main stage.
If you’re still deciding on what outfits to take along it’s worth noting that temperatures shouldn’t be too terrible – so you can definitely get away with the age old festival staple of denim shorts and a band tee.
When it comes to hair, braids are recommended for this type of festival weather – easy to wear and keep things neat plus, if you get wet you can also undo them later when they’re dry for a wavy look for the evening events. Don’t forget the glitter too!
So which festivals do we have left? Well, Superdry have put together a helpful guidefeaturing which ones you should be popping in the diary – including V Festival, Creamfields and Sundown which have some of the biggest artists playing. Check it out and choose your next big weekend!
